Silver Birch – Feb 2021 Repotting

It’s been 5 years since this one was first bonsaied. (Wow.) So it’s time for a refresh and replant.

Those stones I fixed in the soil were really embedded in there. Plus the dead I-can’t-believe-it’s-moss. Quite a crust.

A simple cleaning of the roots, and a move to my inorganic soil mix, plus the silver star ground cover, and viola.
