The Weigela continues it’s rebound. It was dry in November. It was leafing in January. In March, it’s positively bushy.

Now I need to give some thought to styling. Observations:
- the first joint has 5 branches, which is a lot. General style is for 2. It looks like weigela’s grow this way… there’s another joint higher up the main trunk, also with 5
- The main trunk is very straight. Do I chop it? The other branches a pretty straight as well, and I think it’s too late for wiring to fix
- There’s not much at the back (right side of the picture above)
- I don’t have a clear front (which is a common Michael problem, really)
I’m going to leave this for a while to get plenty of vigour. But I think there’s some hard changes coming.
