Chinese Wisteria: May 2022 Training

This has been lurking in my files and my training pots, and I’m only getting around to mentioning it now because I took a snapshot without realising I hadn’t posted it.

It’s definitely this one. I’ve no idea when I got it.

I decided to put it in a grow bag., mostly without change. I think by this stage I’d trimmed some of the main branches to get a better flow.

Chinese Wisteria: May 2022 Training — It’s a really impressive canopy.

The question becomes whether I’d get to keep that canopy as a bonsai. The trunk underneath is a little meh. An alternative is to plant it where it is in a much larger pot and have it grow up a lattice. Decisions decisions.
