These are fast growing, although not particularly good bonsai candidates (leaves are too big).
I cut this back about 3 weeks before this shot, because they were leaning over the driveway. and it wasn’t the first time.
Not a great view… they’re in the center of this shot:

Over those three weeks, there was new growth. Not bad for Autumn.
They’re about the thickness of my finger (which aren’t particularly thick fingers).
I think they need a trunk chop to develop some low growing branches… everything of interest will be too high in the pot.
