Summer was not so kind to the Single Avocado. Despite regular watering, the leaves withered.
Under the understanding that dry leaves are hard to maintain for a plant, it’s onto the bench and off with the leaves.
I’ve been trying to work out the long term view for this one. The trunk is long and has no movement, there’s not enough branches, and it’s generally disappointing me. So in a fit of action, I decided to do something.
Back for some grow.
I’m putting this post up a month later. The branches are beginning to back bud, and it’s concentrated around the tips, and I still hate it. I think I’m going to cut the long top branch about half way up. Yup, let’s do it.
Maybe I need to keep it clipped and tight, and hope to build some ramification.
