So I’ve had this fairly unimpressive and poorly composed photo sitting in my to-do pile since January.

These are from seedlings grown last year and put into open soil in August 2022. Between August and January, there was some growth, but nothing to get excited about.
I started this post to get the picture out of the to-do pile, and realised which one it was.



One very thick trunk, 3 moderate, one still a seedling. I am surprised by that change.
