I’m struggling with what to do on this one. In February I noticed a huge mount in the center, and observed that most bamboo bonsai are not so clumping as this one. So I thought I’d clean up that mound.

All in all, the bamboo defeated me. I could not clean up that mound, and I couldn’t work out what to cut to thin out. In the end, I repotted and gave up. 🙁
