Trident Maple: February 2024 Maintenance

The trident maple seems to have a strong desire for many upwards shoots… like a man holding a pack of balloons. It’s not thickening much, which means that it has to be kept short to match. A little disappointing really.

The leaves are a lot thicker, but this looks pretty similar to 12 months ago, which is I’m thinking it’s about the tree.

I think the underlying tree is interesting. Maybe this could stay at this size.
