I was thinking I would take a photo and use it to store a link to a post about pruning wisteria. Except now I can’t find the post. Which is a pity, because it spoke about cutting the pinnated leaves after 4 or so to promote growth. And I wanted to check it over and remember it when spring comes, which will be the time think about defoliation. I’m assuming I didn’t imagine it. And some poking around suggests that’s the right amount.
Anyway, here’s the photo.

Buds are locked and loaded for spring.
