I know I just posted on these guys, but I convinced myself that the shallow bowls were preventing much growth. I was also worried that they were in a soil heavy mix prone to get waterlogged. This was not right.





Looking at the records, they only germinated in December, so maybe the size is reasonable.


It’s a mix of compost plus perlite, stone and clay balls. I don’t know why I did that. But I didn’t want to mix up a new batch. So the replant is into a mix of this stuff plus a perlite mix. I’m watering down the compost, so to speak.
