As just mentioned, I was repotting a bunch of Silky Oak seedlings (along with other seedlings). After a while, I just wanted to do something else. And one caught my eye.


What the hell… let’s put it in a bonsai pot and see what happens.


This is nothing fancy – a classic stick in a pot, driven by surplus rather than quality stock. I didn’t bother with the roots… they fill the soil space well enough. My prediction and expectation is: there won’t be much growth or change at all.
