Let’s end today’s blogging with some photos of the layout of the garden.
The bleachers I built a couple of years ago. I probably should have relacquered them a while back. These trees get full sun from early morning to middle afternoon.
Bench 1, which I’ve had for 6? years. These trees get some morning sun, and some afternoon sun, but are in full shade for much of the day.
Bench 2. These trees get some morning sun but are mostly shaded.

The alley, which is more or less always shaded. This area is most protected from high winds and temperature, so I tend to use it for nurturing seeds and trees in poor health.
