Pink Flowered Ironbark: December 2024 maintenance

I love how alive this tree has been feeling, after… (pause to look back at records) 5 years of more or less no growth. Two years ago, almost none of the branches existed at all. Now it’s bursting from the pot.

Leaves everywhere.
I’m thinking about photos in more natural positions. But the trees don’t really do action poses.

Pruning back, still looking for more ramification, rather than growth at the tips which I have to cut off. Maybe I should prune in closer to the trunk?
