Wild Pepper Tree: December 2024 maintenance

Running out of time, so this will be a quick post of the images. Narrative will have to be inferred.

Starting point.
A rotation.
Sigh.
I cut the bark back, and applied some paste, in the hope this would heal more naturally.
But I’m not very hopeful.
I don’t know what the tree is doing here. Is that a root? Or has the bark come loose? I’ll find out when I repot.
