There was some pruning in November. But as I watered the garden, something got me to thinking more was needed. And it’s now a week later, so what was it?

After November 2024 training.
Start of January training. I think it’s that right branch going too far out before budding. And the tendency to grow high. Also, it doesn’t show up here, but it’s a little flat, and I need some depth to the branching.

It’s been cut back, attempting to open up the base and encourage some lower growth.
