Tasman Ruffles Hook: April 2025 maintenance

Given these two are separated now, they get names to separate them. I’ve decided on ‘Hook’ and ‘Crook’. I’ll have to retroactively change some files for Crook (as in a shepherd’s crook‘).

Meet Hook. Because there’s a big curve in the main trunk coming from an aggressive prune.

Hook needs a haircut.

Here’s take one. Which when I looked at it felt poorly done.

A bit more effort on curving the ends, and a not-etirely-successful effort to distinguish the front pad.

I think it will be better when the middle fills in. Being a hedge plant, I’m confident it will.
