Not much to say here. I took a photo while doing other things.
It’s growing well, but I can’t help but seeing negatives here. It looks like a shrub. Specific criticisms:
- These trees are very low.
- The leaves are big enough to hide the tree.
- There’s limited view of the trunks.
- The circular pot means there’s no real front, which is particularly bad for this directionless forest.
I wonder if planting this in a more rectangular pot would resolve some of this. Having the trunks in a row, with a left-leaning | upright | upright | right-leaning pattern. Then I could actually prune to a shape. More work for spring.
