The Weeping Fig was in the ground next to the Prickly Paperbark. The paperbark went nuts, and kind of swallowed one side. The Fig was on the sunny side, so it’s half ok.
When I dug up the paperbark, I decided to leave the fig in place.
I’m not too worried about this. Firstly, now that the paperbark is gone, it should fill in a little, even if this is the south side that the sun doesn’t go to. Second, I’ll want a front to the eventual bonsai that lets me see the trunks, and this kinda works.
It is too tall, so I’ve since pruned it back a bit.
