Common Fig: October 2024 update

It’s been a couple of months since I moved the Common Fig’s into separate pots. they hadn’t started budding yet, and I was curious to see how they’d do.

Let’s start with the family portrait.

Common Fig: October 2024 update
I mean… they’re all growing. And some are OK.

Mame style

This took the *longest* time to bud, I was worried it wasn’t going to make it. And this was really the one that persuaded me to keep them. So I’m delighted to see the green.
Side view. There are a few branches that don’t seem to want to grow at all.
This is a couple of weeks later, and yes, several branches don’t want to grow.
Snip. Yes, that’s much better. I might still stand to lose one of the lowest two on the right.

I wonder how big those leaves will get.

Regular

The second best.

Some character, fairly chaotic.
Wait and see.

The other two

I’m trying for a semi-cascade, but this is going to take a long time to develop.
I don’t know what to do with this.
Roll the dice and see what choices grow.
