One thing that always bugged me about this tree was that the root was just jammed into the pot, because I didn’t have a proper sized pot.

Well, over the years the front two branches dried out, so they’re just dead wood. So in February 2021 I decided to fix this.

I pulled it all out, cut off the front, and rewired it in the pot.

I also recalled that this one *really* likes lots of water, so I’ve put it in a saucer for summer, to give the extra water. Here it is at the end of December 2021.

A real literati wouldn’t have so many tufts going up the trunks… maybe I should remove those, and direct all growth to the tops? Something to consider.
