The Solo Avocado – January 2022 styling

Of the two avocados, one grew as a single trunk, while the other grew as a clump three. The solo trunk is getting very upright and dense, so it’s time to style it a bit for future growth.

When the leaves are young, they’re lovely… small with a pleasing olive colour. But then in about 2 months they get old and look like crap.

Some defoliation to see the trunk.

There it is. Those stems will drop off in a couple of weeks.
A smallish pile.

And some wiring to get limbs coming out rather than up.

Hmm…. Are those wirings as straight as they look?

And done.
