6 weeks in, so lets have another update:


That’s 8 seeds sprouted. They seem to be smaller than the Australian Blackwoods, despite a 2 week head start. I’m assuming differences in seed treatment stop applying after germination, so… the black wattle just grows slower?
Anyway, 8 will be plenty for my purposes, despite me not knowing what I’ll do with these. Presumably a forest planting, and maybe a single. Let’s see how they turn out.
