Solanum laciniatum. A native shrub, described as fast growing, with pale purple flowers, and yellow fruit.

Planting this one ends up being pretty hard, and I don’t know if it’s going to work. Turns out the seeds are tiny, like a kiwi fruit. I didn’t much want to get each one out.

In the end I quartered the fruit, and planted like that. I figure the seeds can germinate inside the fruit and grow from the husk. I wasn’t sure of the best direction for the fruit, so I planted in a variety of rotations.
