Smoke Tree: May 2022 update

Last time (January), I mentioned that there were some leaves coming through. And they did. Not many, but some. And I didn’t get a photo. Now the leaves are mostly gone. Some trees really go for Winter early.

I’m mostly puzzled by the moss growing on straight stones. That wasn’t happened anywhere else. I think it must be the very bushy Weigela which hogs the sunlight for this one on the bench.
