In December 2021 I put this into a bonsai pot, and I’ve never been happy with it.
- It’s too top-heavy in the leaves
- There’s not much density
- There’s a lot of branches that just sort of sit there.
- No real sense of growth
- Some big ugly cuts courtesy of younger Michael

I decided to pull it out and see if a better soil would work for it.

In addition to the new pot, I need to shorten and compact the tree. So there’s a heavy prune of the top, and a cleanup of the dead branches going nowhere.
