Pink Flowered Ironbark: December 2023 updates

This was August, after a repotting and pruning.

Still top heavy.

I was nervous about how this would respond. It was a change, and the tree wasn’t exactly robust going in.

October ’23: Signs of life.

Turns out: good move.

I have vague memories of something in … Star Trek? Stargate? … with bits coming out in all directions like this. But trees are meant to do this.

Actually, that go enough for me to want to reduce some of the duplication. Let’s get it on the slab.

Going in.
I’m looking to have a) at most one branch at any point, b) radiating outwards, c) preferably downish, and d) not at unwanted locations.
See, no branches there, please.

And I was also feeling good enough to do some of the chops I missed in August.

With a response like this I feel much more positive about the tree. Yay!
