Shady Lemon Myrtle: March 2024 update

So Shady has clung to life. I won’t say recovered, because the bulk of the tree shows no signs of life. But it’s certainly making a show of turning water and CO2 into something solid.

By way of reminder, this was in December 2022.

Here it is in January 2024:

I believe at this stage I cut the right branch back a time or two.

And here it is in April 2024:

All that growth is coming from the bottom inch or so of the trunk.
Also, all the growth is on one side of the tree. I’ve rotated to see if I get something more.

I’m extremely dubious that I’ll get anything interesting from this. I’ll try a repot in spring and see if there’s anything promising.
