Apparently this is an early responder to spring. Also, get that grass out. September 29. Moss is still alive, and the thick leaf coverage should help, even in the direct sunlight this position gets. I am looking forward to these flowers – I don’t recall seeing them on this one. Maybe I’ll finally get a full name for the plant.
