How are they doing now?
June 23, which is to say… going into Winter. Most of the leaves died off – maybe from the shock of the transplant – but the trees themselves kept going, and pushed out new shoots.
July 2023, and the green keeps coming

Spoiler: I’m writing this in December, and they just kept getting more and more. That tray pretty much has a canopy right now. I’m not sure what to do with 30 seedlings. I gave one to my mother who’s growing it on a balcony. Apparently, it’s thriving.
