I came into possession of some moss, are here I’m adding it to the Chinese Elm.
I raked out the top layer of stones to create a lip, then I added some sand. The lip is to prevent the sand from flowing out when I water, the sand is to give the moss something to grow onto.
Moss clumping around the tree. I’m undecided if it’s better to be solid now, or to wait for it to grow into place.
