Pink flowered Ironbark: February 2024 maintenance

Repotted in August, pruned in November and again in December, and now it’s needed once more. Yowsers.

I’m looking to prevent the top from getting too strong. So intervention.
I gave myself a reminder to take the wire off in two months. And I came in earlier. And it still wasn’t enough.
Oh… I forgot I decided to take this bit off.
That was quite a big bit, actually.
Did that cut paste do anything? Signs point to no.
Yes, I like that top much better.
