Common Fig – 2019 Training

I picked this one up for $9 from the Gardenologist in Gordon. It looks like an interesting moss covered hill feature with multiple trunks branching out.

As purchased in April 2019:

What a pleasing arrangement of branches coming from a single trunk.

Apparently this multiple trunk fig is a Black Genoa.

Nice to know about that one tree with multiple trunks.

A bit of a liverwort problem in March 2019.

I’m really looking forward to working with such an interesting trunk.

I got in and dug out the liverwort, mostly successfully.

In this close up on the liverwort, you can’t see that interesting trunk.
