Black Wattle: March 2022 update

These were planted 1st Feb, so lets record some progress.

Week 9 (9th April):

6 blocks, but I think some are doubles?

Week 11 (25th April):

Hmm… are they growing at all?

Week 12 (1st May):

There’s some growth I suppose.

Compared to the Australian Blackwoods, which had very similar seeds, and got some preparation treatment of the seeds, there’s much fewer that have grown. So the sanding and cracking seems like a good idea.

Given the slow growth, and the fact that winter starts in 3 weeks, I’m considering bringing these inside to keep growing. But my cats will eat them if given any chance. Also, providing light might be an issue. So I don’t know.
