Parts Washer

Did you know there’s a thing called a parts washer?

It’s true.

It’s used to wash things in a garage where you don’t have e.g. plumbing. Elements are:

  • A basin of whatever size (the size seemed to be the main differentiator between products)
  • A perforated bench above the basin
  • A pump with a filter connected to a hose.
  • A drainage hole
  • A covering lid.
This was in an car parts store, which may explain the flavor of surrounding objects.

I thought that would be useful for cleaning roots. My wife thought it would be useful for sharpening knives.

Just keeping it here as a note.
