Pepper Tree – January 2022 Seedling progress

So the seedlings have been in the ground for 2 weeks now, and I’ve got about a dozen sprouts.

And germination continues.

And here’s some reference photos of some Pepper Trees in the area.

This last one is a group that has grown from a single stump.

Those are definitely growing off the fallen remains of an elder.
It’s hard to see with all the braken.
